Overview
Glossed is a comprehensive multi-vendor marketplace tailored for automotive and car care services. Built with a robust tech stack including Laravel, React, and Inertia.js, the platform seamlessly connects customers with trusted local service providers. It features real-time notifications, an intuitive booking system, and dedicated, feature-rich dashboards for both administrators and vendors to streamline day-to-day operations.
The challenge
The primary technical hurdle in this project was architecting a complex and secure dual-sided payment management system. Integrating Stripe and PayPal to handle seamless customer transactions while dynamically calculating, splitting, and routing commission payouts to individual vendors required highly precise logic. Ensuring financial accuracy, handling refunds, and maintaining a transparent payment flow across the entire multi-vendor ecosystem was a significant challenge that we successfully resolved.
